One of my favourite parts of my adventure as a copywriter in the tech world has been collaborating with engineers and product. I’ve worked closely with engineers, CTOs and CPOs at several companies, including Verizon Digital Media Services (now Edgio), Section.io (now Webscale), Tesuto (now part of Fastly), and at Catchpoint. I relish getting to grips with technical concepts, working in tandem with the engineers to express the ideas clearly and ideally with a certain flair. As you can see in some of the examples listed, types of copy as an editor and co-writer include white papers, ebooks, blogs, press articles, Q&As, checklists, and original research.
